WHEN YOU LOOK HAPPY, I FEEL GOOD, EVEN IF I'M NOT THE REASON. WHEN YOU DON'T, ALL I WANT IS TO TAKE BETTER CARE OF YOU SOMEHOW. IT'S OBVIOUS THAT PEOPLE SHOULD TREAT YOU WELL, BUT WHEN THEY DON'T... IT MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL, AND UNTIL I CAN CONFIRM YOU'RE ALRIGHT, I JUST CAN'T CALM DOWN. I FELT IT WHEN YOU WERE HOVERING BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH. I NEVER WANT YOU TO GO THROUGH ANYTHING LIKE THAT AGAIN. ...BUT, IT'S NOT ROMANTIC LOVE. SO, IF YOU BROUGHT UP TYING SLEEVES WITH OTHER FEELINGS IN MIND— I'LL... HAVE TO PRETEND I NEVER HEARD IT. ...LOOKING BACK, I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO CARED. EDAN HAS NEVER TRULY SEEN ME AS A WOMAN. HE NEVER GAVE ME THE 'SOMETHING' I WAS HOPING FOR... WHOA. ? AH! UH, WHOA, HOLD ON...! THIS IS DEEPER THAN I THOU— GASP! ...AN OUTSIDER? GRAB ON. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I HAVE A TERRIBLE SENSE OF DIRECTION, AND MY LUCK IS PRETTY AWFUL TOO. YOU SAVED MY LIFE. ...YOU STILL LIKE HELPING OTHERS, I SEE. EXCUSE ME? HAVE YOUR EYES BEEN THAT WAY SINCE BIRTH? I'VE SEEN EYES LIKE THAT BEFORE. IN 'GROER', THE ROYALS OF OUR COUNTRY ALSO HAD BLUE EYES. THAT'S WHY THEY ALWAYS WORE A BLUE JEWEL ORNAMENT TO SYMBOLIZE THEMSELVES. WELL, IT'S ALL IN THE PAST NOW. THE LATE KING PASSED AWAY ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO, AND HER HIGHNESS THE PRINCESS DISAPPEARED AROUND THE SAME TIME— EVERYONE SAID HER HIGHNESS HAD PASSED AWAY, BUT I! I DIDN'T BELIEVE IT. I COULDN'T ACCEPT THAT HER HIGHNESS WAS DEAD, SO I SEARCHED FOR A LONG TIME. ...YOU HAVE THE WRONG PERSON. IMPOSSIBLE. THEY SAY NOT EVEN A GHOST CAN MIMIC A BIRTHMARK. SOMEONE WITH A STAR-SHAPED BIRTHMARK LIKE THIS... THERE HAS ONLY BEEN ONE PERSON IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. RENE GROER. WHO ARE YOU...? HELLO. I WONDER IF YOU REMEMBER WHO I AM. LOGAN BLAKE. YOUR FORMER FIANCÉ. IT WASN'T JUST ME. HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN DOWAGER SEARCHED FOR YOUR WHEREABOUTS MORE DESPERATELY THAN ANYONE. UNTIL YOUR BODY WAS FOUND. GRANDMOTHER... WAS LOOKING FOR ME? I THOUGHT SHE WANTED ME DEAD MORE THAN ANYONE. EVEN AFTER THAT, I COULDN'T ACCEPT IT. AFTER YEARS OF SEARCHING, WE FINALLY MEET LIKE THIS. This is a gift. ...... . ...RIGHT. YOU PROBABLY NEED TIME TO PROCESS THIS. I'LL BE BACK SOON, RENE GROER. I HOPE YOU DON'T FORGET ME BY THEN. HE WANTS... TO MEET AGAIN. AH...! GIVE IT BACK, EDAN! WHERE DID YOU GET THIS. AND WHO WERE YOU WITH ALL THIS TIME. WAS IT AN OUTSIDER? ## See also - [WebtoonLib — Asha of the Border #21: Chapter 20](/series/asha-of-the-border-7nqarudm/chapter-21-rkgr6v) - for_series_detail: /llms-series/asha-of-the-border-7nqarudm ## Usage AI grounding / search / summarization.
