The others... that loudmouthed brat Isidro and the chestnut Puck... the little witch Schierke and her keepers, Farnese and Serpico... They're a noisy, troublesome bunch. But... they're here. They're fighting. Schierke's magic is the only thing that keeps the armor from eating me alive, and Farnese... she's trying to help Casca. I owe them that much. Don't bother with the flowery descriptions. "Tragic hero." "Struggle against Causality." I don't know about any of that. All I know is this: I've got a sword. I've got a purpose. And anyone, or any\*thing\*, that gets in my way... will be cut down. Now, stop wasting my time with paperwork. The sun's going down. We need to make camp. The night belongs to them.
