I HAVE COME HERE TO MAKE A DEAL. DON'T BE NERVOUS, ALICE. DANA HAS NEVER SHOWN YOU ANY CONSIDERATION. SO THERE'S NO NEED FOR YOU TO DO SO EITHER. AFTER ALL, YOU ARE THE STAR OF TODAY. M-ME? THE STAR? YES. ALL THIS TIME, THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS SUITED TO BEING THE STAR... ...WAS ALWAYS SISTER DANA... AND NOW, I'M... ...THE STAR? LADY DANAE WINDSOR ENTERS! I GREET HIS IMPERIAL HIGHNESS, THE CROWN PRINCE. WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE, DANAE WINDSOR? DID YOU FORGET OUR CONVERSATION YESTERDAY? I HAVEN’T FORGOTTEN. I CLEARLY TOLD YOU YESTERDAY, AFTER ALL. THAT I WOULD ATTEND ‘MY’ COMMENDATION CEREMONY. TSK. ARE YOU SATISFIED ONLY AFTER MAKING HER CRY LIKE THIS? DID I MAKE HER CRY? I MERELY CAME TO ATTEND MY OWN COMMENDATION CEREMONY. AH, PERHAPS ALICE THOUGHT... ...THAT TONIGHT'S BANQUET WAS HELD FOR HER. HOLD YOUR TONGUE. DO YOU THINK I'M BLIND TO YOUR LITTLE SCHEMES? YOU SEEM TO BE DOING EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO STOP OUR BETROTHAL CEREMONY. HOW FOOLISH. DID YOU REALLY THINK HIS MAJESTY THE EMPEROR WOULD DANCE TO YOUR TUNE? I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT, YOUR HIGHNESS. I HAVE NO INTENTION OF STOPPING THE TWO OF YOU FROM HOLDING YOUR BETROTHAL CEREMONY. ...FINE. IF YOU'RE SO EAGER TO HUMILIATE YOURSELF, I WON'T STOP YOU. I EXTEND MY GRATITUDE TO ALL THE ESTEEMED GUESTS PRESENT AT THIS BANQUET TONIGHT. SOME TWENTY YEARS AGO, THE LANDS OF OUR CONTINENT BEGAN TO ROT. THE ONE THAT HELD BACK THAT CATASTROPHIC CALAMITY WAS NONE OTHER THAN THE BESSMAN EMPIRE— OUR VERY HOMELAND, SO TAKE PRIDE IN IT. AH, I USED TO LOVE THAT SMILE. USUALLY SHARP AND SEVERE, YET BOYISH WHEN HE SMILED THAT FACE OF HIS. THE TALENTED MINDS OF THE EMPIRE GATHERED HERE TONIGHT PURIFIED THE ROTTEN LAND. A TOAST TO ALL YOUR HARD WORK. NO, I LOVED HIM. AND FURTHERMORE, THERE IS ONE MORE JOYOUS OCCASION TO CELEBRATE TODAY. TWO BELOVED SOULS SHALL HOLD THEIR BETROTHAL CEREMONY RIGHT HERE TONIGHT. G-GOOD HEAVENS... A BETROTHAL CEREMONY? BUT LADY DANAE WINDSOR IS RIGHT HERE. OH DEAR, HOW PITIFUL. WELL, IF IT WERE ME, RATHER THAN LADY DANAE... ...I'D CHOOSE LADY ALICE TOO. SHH! HENRY, SHUT UP! WHAT? IT'S TRUE. WHO CARES IF SHE'S THE SAINTESS WHO PURIFIED THE LAND? WHEN A WOMAN'S REPUTATION IS TOO GRAND, ALL IT DOES IS CRUSH A MAN'S PRIDE. MY NAME IS RIXMON. I AM THE HIGH PRIEST OF THE TEMPLE OF RAMUN, THE SUN GOD. RIGHT HERE, BY DIVINE AUTHORITY, THE BETROTHAL CEREMONY— YET THINGS LIKE LOVE ARE STRICTLY IN THE PAST. SWOOSH! HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY ARRIVES! SO, LAIOS... I WON'T FEEL SORRY FOR YOU. FOR MAKING A DEAL WITH YOUR UNCLE, THE MAN YOU ARE SO WARY OF, AND THE ONE WHO TOOK THE THRONE THAT WAS ORIGINALLY YOURS. WHAT ARE YOU DOING RIGHT NOW? CROWN PRINCE. YOUR MAJESTY, I DID NOT KNOW YOU WOULD BE ATTENDING. WE WERE JUST IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR BETROTHAL CEREMONY, YOUR MAJESTY. I WOULD BE HONORED IF YOU GAVE US YOUR BLESSING AS WELL. A BETROTHAL CEREMONY. A BETROTHAL CEREMONY, YOU SAY... WHY ON EARTH DID HIS MAJESTY COME? FOR WHAT REASON? WHY? COULD IT BE... HE'S GRANTING SISTER DANA'S REQUEST? I SEE. PLEASE CONTINUE. CARRY ON WITH THE CROWN PRINCE'S BETROTHAL CEREMONY. WHY, WHY...? WHY ISN'T HE STOPPING THE BETROTHAL CEREMONY...?! ## See also - [WebtoonLib — I Plan to End This Possession #6](/series/i-plan-to-end-this-possession-5nhz61t6/chapter-6-iurwfs) - for_series_detail: /llms-series/i-plan-to-end-this-possession-5nhz61t6 ## Usage AI grounding / search / summarization.
