### Summary
The current narrative centers on the burgeoning platonic friendship between protagonist Latte Ectrie and original male lead, Kenneth. This development is overwhelmingly supported by readers, who view it as Kenneth breaking free from the original novel's forced plot and his infatuation with the heroine, Ibelin Dott. Fan commentary dismisses Ibelin as a boring, passive character whose "protagonist buff" is fading, leading to speculation that her suspicious, prolonged absence may precede her return as a villainess. Latte is praised for actively helping Kenneth deconstruct his feelings, a meta-commentary on shallow romance tropes that subverts typical isekai conventions. The chapter's humor was also a highlight, with many readers celebrating a specific "Ace Attorney" meme reference. While Latte’s primary romance with the mage Arwin remains solid, fans are actively shipping Kenneth with the Royal Princess, strongly opposing a new love triangle. As Latte solidifies these new platonic and romantic bonds, the original story's key figures, Ibelin and the absent Prince, are increasingly sidelined, reinforcing the narrative's successful dismantling of its source material.
