A WOMAN'S VOICE? IS HE SEEING SOMEONE THESE DAYS? HOW DID I KNOW? BECAUSE I'VE BEEN WAITING. PLUS, NOT MANY PEOPLE HAVE THIS NUMBER. YEAH. OF COURSE. BUT... OVER THE PHONE IS A BIT... WHY DON'T WE MEET UP AND TALK? OVER HERE, YEONJE. OH, HI. IT'S STILL A BIT CHILLY LATE AT NIGHT. I TOLD YOU I COULD SEND A CAR. PUBLIC TRANSIT IS FINE, WHY WOULD YOU... IT'S NOT LIKE WE'RE ADVERTISING THAT WE'RE MEETING... WHO CARES? WE'RE FAMILY. 25TH FLOOR. FAMILY, MY ASS. SEEING AS YOU TURNED DOWN THE CAR, I’M GUESSING YOU SNEAKED OUT WITHOUT WOOHYUN KNOWING? YEAH. HE SAID HE WOULDN’T BE HOME TODAY. YEONJE, GO TO SLEEP FIRST. SINCE LEE TAEIN IS PLAYING NURSE BY THE CHAIRMAN’S SIDE, I SHOULD GO PUT ON AN ACT TOO. SHWEEP WEW. WEN YOU CWOMIN’ BWAK? I'LL PROBABLY HAVE TO STAY THERE ALL NIGHT... SORRY FOR MAKING YOU SLEEP ALONE. I'LL MAKE SURE THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN. AGH,? Ah, my mouth is full. Let go, will you? YOU LOOK LIKE A CHIP- MUNK. THE DOORS ARE OPENING. AND AS SOON AS HE LEFT THE HOUSE, I CAME STRAIGHT HERE. HONESTLY, I ONLY PLANNED ON TALKING TO LEE JAEHEE OVER THE PHONE, BUT... NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT, WHY AREN'T YOU GOING OVER THERE? OVER WHERE? TO SEE THE CHAIRMAN. I HEARD LEE TAEIN IS STAYING BY HIS SIDE ALL NIGHT TO NURSE HIM. TAEIN IS ALREADY THERE. BESIDES— IT'S PRETTY COMMON FOR ME TO BE LATE TO FAMILY MATTERS FOR 'CERTAIN REASONS'. AH. 'CERTAIN REASONS'. LIKE THOSE RUMORS I HEARD AT THE WEDDING. OR THAT WOMAN YOU WERE ARGUING WITH IN FRONT OF YOUR HOUSE EARLIER. STUFF LIKE THAT. YEAH. ALCOHOLISM, PARTYING... WOMEN... THAT SORT OF THING. COME ON IN. ...WOMEN... I suddenly don't want to go in. HAA... THEY SAY CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT. AN OFFICETEL? THAT'S UNEXPECTED. I FIGURED HE'D LIVE IN A MASSIVE MANSION. YEONJE. SORRY TO MAKE YOU WAIT RIGHT AFTER YOU GOT HERE. I GOT AN URGENT CALL. IT'S FINE. MORE IMPORTANTLY, COULD YOU SIT HERE? HM? ARE WE REALLY DOING THIS? YES. IS THIS SOME KIND OF SURPRISE GIFT? YOU'RE GIVING THIS TO ME?! YOU CALLED ME TO YOUR PLACE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, SO YOU CAN HANDLE THIS MUCH. I GET THAT, BUT... I FEEL LIKE I'M THE ONE LOOKING MORE SUSPICIOUS RIGHT NOW. NOT AT ALL. LET'S NOT WASTE TIME AND GET STRAIGHT TO THE POINT. WHEN DID YOU FIRST MEET WOOHYUN? TO BE EXACT, IT WASN'T JUST ONCE. WE MET SEVERAL TIMES. WOOHYUN WORKED AT A STORE OWNED BY SOMEONE I KNOW. WE TALKED QUITE A BIT, AND I EVEN INVITED HIM OVER SEPARATELY. AND THEN IT SEEMS 'MANAGER CHA' QUIETLY APPROACHED WOOHYUN. PROBABLY TO PROPOSE THE MARRIAGE WITH TAEIN. 'MANAGER CHA'... Lee Taein said she found out about Woohyun through Manager Cha. If what he's saying is true, they proposed the marriage because Woohyun was some- one close to Lee Jaehee... COULD THIS BE WHY WOOHYUN LIED? ...NO, HOLD ON A SECOND. Publicly, Woohyun and Lee Taein are known to have had a love marriage. But for Lee Jaehee to say something like that... Did he know from the very beginning that their marriage... ...started as a contract? YEONJE. I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU TOO. A QUESTION? IS HE GOING TO ASK ABOUT THE CONTRACT MARRIAGE? PLAY DUMB AND DENY IT, SEO YEONJE. ...WHAT IS IT? ARE YOU SEEING ANYONE RIGHT NOW? ...? WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME THAT...? I'VE BEEN CURIOUS SINCE THE FIRST TIME I SAW YOU. WHAT YOUR IDEAL TYPE IS, IF YOU'RE SEEING ANYONE, AND IF YOU ARE SEEING SOMEONE... COULD IT HAPPEN TO BE... MY BROTHER- IN-LAW- THINGS LIKE THAT. ...HA. AT FIRST, I THOUGHT WOOHYUN AND TAEIN MIGHT HAVE ACTUALLY GOTTEN MARRIED OUT OF LOVE. BUT THAT THOUGHT CHANGED AT THE WEDDING TODAY. THE WAY WOOHYUN LOOKED AT YOU WHEN YOU WERE WITH ME... HOW SHOULD I PUT IT? HMM... RIGHT. HE LOOKED LIKE A MAN WHO JUST HAD WHAT'S HIS STOLEN FROM HIM. ...AHA? THAT'S WHAT I WANT TO FIND OUT. PLUS, FATHER DID TELL US TO GET ALONG AS A FAMILY AT DINNER. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT? HAVE YOU BEEN WATCHING TOO MANY DRAMAS OR SOME- THING— —? WHAT THE. IS THAT THE DOOR LOCK? YEAH. I GUESS WE'RE ABOUT TO FIND OUT. WHETHER IT'S JUST A DRAMA- OR NOT. SERIOUSLY. WHY WON'T YOU OPEN THE DOOR? WHERE ARE YOUR MANNERS...? ## See also - [WebtoonLib — My Boyfriend’s Wedding #5](/series/my-boyfriend-s-wedding-a3wkfbme/chapter-5-s7478z) - for_series_detail: /llms-series/my-boyfriend-s-wedding-a3wkfbme ## Usage AI grounding / search / summarization.
