HOW DID I NOT THINK OF THAT BEFORE? I THINK I WOULD'VE ENJOYED SEEING THE LOOK ON ROUSSEL PEDELIAN'S FACE... ...AS HE WATCHED HIS OWN SON DIE PAINFULLY IN FRONT OF HIS EYES. IT'S TOO BAD THE INTRUDER DIDN'T TURN OUT TO BE ONE OF THEIR MEN! BUT AT LEAST MY BUTTERFLIES GOT A GOOD MEAL OUT OF THIS, CONSIDERING HOW SPECIAL HE WAS. THEY SHOULD BE HONORED THAT WE LET A FILTHY PEDELIAN LIKE HIM DIE THAT WAY. YES, YOU'RE RIGHT. HOW GENEROUS OF YOU TO END HIS LIFE SO MAGNIFICENTLY. IT'S GETTING LATE. YOU SHOULD GET SOME REST, FATHER. VERY WELL. YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME, ROXANA. YES, FATHER. MY LADY, AS YOU'VE REQUESTED, NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER YOUR ROOM. GOOD. AND NICE WORK TODAY, EMILY. THANK YOU, MY LADY. I WILL LEAVE YOU TO REST NOW. KLEGH! HAA... HAH... UGH...! I WONDER... ...IF CASSIS HAS ESCAPED THE DARK FOREST SAFELY. I'M SURE HE'S OKAY. IN ORDER TO HELP HIM GET AWAY, HOWEVER, NO ONE KNOWS THAT I SECRETLY HATCHED ANOTHER EGG AND RAISED THOSE BUTTERFLIES TO HAVE HALLUCINOGENIC ABILITIES. THE CASSIS THAT DIED IN FRONT OF EVERYONE TODAY WAS JUST AN ILLUSION. FOR HIM TO ESCAPE WITHOUT RUNNING INTO TROUBLE, I REVEALED MY KILLER BUTTERFLIES. AND FOR ME TO AVOID PUNISHMENT FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO STOP HIM, NO ONE CAN KNOW... ...THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT REALLY HAPPENED. THE PEDELIANS' MEN SHOULD BE THERE, WAITING FOR HIM NEARBY THE SECRET PASSAGE. MY KILLER BUTTERFLIES WILL ALSO BE THERE TO PROTECT HIM FROM THE FOREST MONSTERS. KLEGH! HA, I CAN'T BELIEVE HIM. IT WAS ONLY A SMALL BURN... HA... HAHA... MAYBE I'M BEING TOO OPTIMISTIC. BUT I DON'T THINK... ...CASSIS WILL DIE IN THAT FOREST. OH... HOW ANNOYING. I HEARD YOU FED CASSIS PEDELIAN TO YOUR POISON BUTTERFLIES. EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT IT. SO? WHAT DOES IT MATTER TO YOU? WHERE DID YOU HIDE HIM? CASSIS PEDELIAN, I MEAN. ACTUALLY... LET ME GUESS. THERE'S ONLY ONE PLACE THAT I CAN THINK OF. IT'S THE DARK FOREST ON THE NORTHERN BORDER. YOU CAN FOOL EVERYONE ELSE, BUT YOU CAN'T FOOL ME, ROXANA. I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU DID IT, BUT IT'S COMMENDABLE. SO, THESE BUTTERFLIES... ...CAN INDUCE HALLUCINATIONS, RIGHT? I THOUGHT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE KILLER BUTTERFLIES. OR... DID YOU HATCH MORE THAN ONE EGG? YOU'RE BEING RIDICULOUS. I THINK YOU AND I BOTH KNOW THAT'S NOT TRUE. SO... ...ARE YOU GOING TO TELL EVERYONE? WHAT DO YOU THINK I SHOULD DO? SHOULD I SEND THE GUARDS OVER TO THE NORTHERN BORDER? IT MIGHT NOT BE A BAD IDEA TO RIP THAT BASTARD INTO TINY LITTLE PIECES... ...JUST TO SEE THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE. ## See also - [WebtoonLib — Roxana #26](/series/roxana-ex5i39wf/chapter-26-e27q97) - for_series_detail: /llms-series/roxana-ex5i39wf ## Usage AI grounding / search / summarization.
