I'LL BE BACK.
ALRIGHT.

YOUR EYES ARE ALL SWOLLEN.
I KNOW...

WHY DO I FEEL SO ANXIOUS?
I WISH I COULD ASK YOU TO COME WITH ME.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME. YOU NEED TO GO BEFORE IT GETS LATE.
ALRIGHT.
I'LL BE BACK BEFORE YOU KNOW IT.
OF COURSE.

WAIT FOR ME.
I WILL.

HYAH!

SIR THEO.

HE'S GONE.
TAKE THE EGG.

YES, SIR.
AGRISH.
YES?
ARE YOU READY?
I AM.

WELL, THEN.
IT'S NEARLY TIME FOR IT TO HATCH.
WHEN IT'S BORN...

...HE OR SHE WILL BE ALL ALONE.

HOW COULD THE PARTY OF INTEREST BE THIS TARDY?
HAS PESERUS GONE SOMEWHERE?
OF COURSE NOT, YOUR MAJESTY.

I'M SURE IT'S BECAUSE HE IS STILL RECOVERING FROM CHILDBIRTH.
DON'T BE TOO HARD ON HIM, YOUR MAJESTY.

IT SOUNDS AS IF SHE IS BLATANTLY COVERING FOR HIM.
I KNOW SHE KICKED HER BELOVED YOUNGER BROTHER OUT RECENTLY. DOES SHE KNOW OF THE PLAN?

I'LL NEED TO COME UP WITH A NEW WAY TO GET RID OF HER.
PRESENTING THEO PESERUS OF THE PESERUS CLAN.

WHAT?!

THEO...

IT SEEMS I AM LATE.
APOLOGIES, YOUR MAJESTY.

NOT AT ALL. TAKE YOUR SEAT.
HOW CAN THIS BE?

THEO WASN'T EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE IN ODEA.

EVERYONE KNEW THE MOMENT THE PESERUS CLAN SHUT THEIR DOORS AND KEPT THEO'S WHEREABOUTS A SECRET.
WE BEGAN INVESTIGATING WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THAT THEO WAS LONG GONE FROM ODEA.
WE ALSO KNEW THAT THEO HAD LEFT ODEA WITH NONE OTHER THAN A REVOLUTIONARY FROM LANGERES.

BUT WE COULDN'T FIND A TRACE OF HIM AFTER THAT.
IN FACT...
...I DOUBT IT'S A COINCIDENCE THAT HE WAS ABLE TO MAKE HIS APPEARANCE TODAY.

THIS COMPLICATES THINGS.

EXPLAIN THIS TO ME, THEO.

YES, THAT'S RIGHT. HE'S THE LEADER OF THE REVOLUTIONARY ARMY.
ROSS?
I DIDN'T BUY THAT HE WAS A MERCENARY. HIS MANNERISMS WERE FAR TOO ARISTOCRATIC.
ARE YOU SURE HE IS THE LEADER? IF HE'S NOT...

YES, I'M SURE.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF?
IT'S TRUE.
HIS NAME IS SERAM MARITA.
!

WAS THAT THE ANSWER YOU WANTED TO HEAR?
AS YOUR MAJESTY HAS ALREADY DECIDED THE TRUTH, I WILL SIMPLY TELL YOU THE ANSWER YOU SEEK.
