Princess Knight's Kept Man Anime Delayed to 2027, New Cast Members and Teaser Visual Released

The Kept Man of the Princess Knight (Prenses Şövalyenin Bakılan Adamı) manga series' anime adaptation has finally received a firm release date. According to Anime News Network, the series will air in January 2027. Additionally, a new teaser video and character visuals were shared, and new names added to the production team were announced.
While the teaser video showed the designs and atmosphere of the main characters, it was previously announced that the director is Shinichi Omata (director of Kaguya-sama: Love is War). With the new announcement, names for key roles such as character designer and music composer have also been revealed. The anime is being produced by Studio Bind (producer of Mushoku Tensei).
The series is based on a popular manga written and illustrated by Toru (pseudonym) and published on the Comic Walker platform since 2020. The story revolves around Kaito, an ordinary man who is "kept" by the princess knight Seraphina. Blending comedy, romance, and light fantasy elements, the series stands out especially for its reversed dynamics. The manga has reached 12 volumes so far and sold over 1 million copies.
Why is this important? Although the "kept man" theme has gained popularity in recent years, pairing it with a strong female character like a princess knight makes the series unique. Studio Bind's visual quality and Omata's character-focused storytelling may make the adaptation appeal to both manga fans and new viewers. For now, the wait continues until January 2027; we are likely to see new trailers and more cast details in the coming months.
