The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World (Buz Kılıcı Büyücüsü Dünyaya Hükmedecek) fans have received the long-awaited news: The second season of the anime adaptation will premiere on October 8, 2026. Along with the announcement, a new key visual was also shared; the names of the opening and ending songs and their performers were also revealed as part of the same promotion.
Written by Nana Mikoshiba and brought to life with illustrations by Riko Korie, the light novel series has been published under the Kodansha Ranobe Books label since 2019. The story, which was later also adapted into a manga, focuses on the adventures of the young sorcerer Ray White, who enrolls at Arnold Military Academy, and his friends. The first anime adaptation aired for 12 episodes from January to March 2023.
The key visual for the new season draws attention with cold blue tones and a snowy atmosphere that highlight the series' 'ice blade' theme.
