Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4's First Sukuna-Focused Super Teaser Visual Released

The long-awaited news has arrived from the Jujutsu Kaisen front. The first super teaser visual for the series' 4th season has been officially released. The visual for the new season, announced as Culling Game Arc Part 2, features the series' most iconic and dangerous character, Ryomen Sukuna. With the release of the visual, Sukuna's unforgettable line "Something interesting" became a trending topic on social media again.
The visual has a quite minimal and dark design. The teaser, which highlights Sukuna's face and characteristic smile, also gives important clues about the tone of the upcoming arc. While the production committee described the visual as a "super teaser visual," this move also confirmed that the promotional process for Season 4 has officially begun. No new trailer or clear release date has been shared yet, but the arrival of the visual shows that production is continuing at full speed.
As you may recall, the 3rd season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime by Gege Akutami was announced to cover the first part of the Culling Game Arc. The series, produced by MAPPA studio, is planned to start airing in Japan on January 8, 2026. Season 4 will be a direct continuation of this story and will tell the second act of the Culling Game, one of the manga's longest and most complex arcs. This arc includes chapters in which sorcerers such as Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Yuta Okkotsu are dragged into a deadly battle royale, with Sukuna's plans at the center.
It is no coincidence that Sukuna is so prominent in the teaser visual. In this part of the manga, after taking over Megumi's body, Sukuna fully breaks free from his reins and upends the series' power balances. The scene that fans remember as "Something Interesting" points exactly to this period; that eerie line Sukuna utters when he is bored or encounters a powerful opponent takes on a much darker meaning in the second half of the Culling Game. Therefore, the new visual is interpreted not just as promotional material, but also as a wink toward the major events to come.
Jujutsu Kaisen had become one of the greatest phenomena in modern shonen history with its manga, which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018 and concluded in September 2024. The anime adaptation, under MAPPA's banner, has achieved global success since 2020. The series, which raised the bar to the sky with the Shibuya Incident Arc, carries its story into its final saga with the Culling Game. Although no clear release window has been announced for Season 4 yet, given that Season 3 will start in January 2026, Part 2 is expected to arrive in late 2026 or early 2027. It is highly likely that a new trailer and release date announcement will be made at events such as Jump Festa in the coming months.
