WHERE ARE YOU GOING?
THERE AGAIN?
WHY? WORRIED YOU'LL MISS ME?
STILL ANXIOUS WITHOUT ME, JUST LIKE OLD TIMES?
UGH, ENOUGH ALREADY! J-JUST GO!
I'LL BE BACK.
OH, THAT THING HE DOES?
HE'S PAYING RESPECTS TO HIS SISTER.
...HIS SISTER?
HE HAD AN OLDER SISTER NAMED RIVER,
BUT SHE DIED A LONG TIME AGO.
RIGHT IN FRONT OF EDEN WHEN HE WAS STILL A CHILD.
THAT'S THE PLACE EVERYONE CALLS THE "HILL."
THE SPOT WHERE RIVER DIED.
...HE GOES THERE EVERY SINGLE DAY.
I THOUGHT THOSE FLOWERS WERE POISONOUS.
UGH
UUGH..
UUGH...
UUGH...
UGH...
UGH...
THAT SOUND...
UUUGH,...
UUGH...
UGH,
UGH,
UUUGH,...
......!
E-EDEN...
EDEN...!
...RIVER.
MY LOVE,
WHEN... ARE YOU GOING TO STOP?
I... REMEMBER... EVERYTHING...
YOU KEEP LINGERING AROUND...
HOW IS ANYONE SUPPOSED TO... LIVE LIKE THIS...?
...COLD.
IT'S SO... COLD.
FATHER.
WHERE DID HE GO AFTER SHE DIED?
DID THE GOBLINS TAKE HIM AWAY?
OR DID HE REACH ANOTHER PARADISE?
BUT FATHER...
GOBLINS SEARCH FOR PARADISE TOO.
WERE YOUR NIGHTS LIKE THIS TOO, FATHER?
AFTER MOTHER LEFT,
DID YOU WANDER THROUGH NIGHTS THIS COLD AS WELL?
YOU'RE AWAKE?
WH-WHY ARE WE LIKE THIS...?!
WHY ELSE?
YOU KEPT MUMBLING, "I'M COLD~ I'M COLD~"
ALL NIGHT IN YOUR SLEEP.
THAT WASN'T ME...!
THAT WAS YOU, EDEN...!
L-LET GO!
WHY? YOU SAID YOU WERE COLD.
STOP IT!
WHAT'S WITH YOU ALL OF A SUDDEN?
WHY ARE YOU ACTING SHY AROUND ME?
...WAS I THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS COLD?
Eden goes again to the Hill she visits every day to remember her late sister River. The person who follows her out of curiosity hears strange moans among the flowers believed to be poisonous and has a cold, dreamlike encounter. As River's voice says she remembers everything, the night passes with a feeling of chill. When they wake up in the morning, Eden teases the other for hugging her, and the other reacts in embarrassment.
