Doctor Elise The Royal Lady with the Lamp — Chapter 37

Alright, fellow fans of Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp, Chapter 37 definitely left us wanting more! The overwhelming sentiment? Pure, unadulterated frustration over that "illegal" cliffhanger. Seriously, many readers felt personally attacked by how abruptly the chapter ended! 😭

The big reveal has everyone buzzing! Michael (or "Mil" as some call him, despite the nickname debate 😂) truly stole the show. Readers are absolutely swooning over how sweet and genuinely kind he is, leading to a strong push for him to be the main lead. "MIL, I love you already bro!" is a common refrain, with many wishing he was endgame over the current male lead, Linden, who's definitely feeling the heat from the fandom this chapter. People are even disappointed that the brothers are former love rivals!

Beyond the intense shipping debates, readers also loved Elise's hilarious mental conversation with the guard 😂, and appreciated the wholesome, non-creepy friendship brewing between Elise and Michael this go-round. Oh, and a special shoutout to whoever noticed (and celebrated!) the much-needed upgrade from Elise's "90s shoujo anime hairband." This chapter was a mix of gasps, "DUN DUN DUN" moments, and a whole lot of love for Michael! 💖
