Chapter Summary

The Duke offers the young woman a fake relationship with him, but she firmly refuses. The Duke claims she once ruined the seats of his car by getting in while muddy and wet, and presents her with a 5 million kron repair bill. The woman says she will pay the debt, but refuses to become his mistress. The Duke tries to persuade her with the promise of revenge against the princess, while the woman explains that she does not want revenge, but marriage with someone she loves.
