My Boyfriend’s Wedding — Chapter 6

My Boyfriend’s Wedding Chapter 6 throws Seo Yeonje into a frantic hiding situation inside Lee Jaehee’s house while Gyeon Woohyun arrives to drop off side dishes. Woohyun was asked by his mother to deliver them because Taein’s father isn’t doing well, and he expects a quick visit. Instead, he finds no one greeting him and then notices unfamiliar women’s clothes that do not look like Jaehee’s in size or style, leaving him wondering if someone else came over and whether they look oddly familiar. The tension in My Boyfriend’s Wedding Chapter 6 comes from what Yeonje and Jaehee choose to do while Woohyun is nearby. Yeonje panics about being caught there, fearing she will not hear the end of it for years, and begs Jaehee to keep her visit a secret from Woohyun. Jaehee turns the moment into pressure, questioning her claim that she and Woohyun are not dating as family and demanding proof that she is single. When Yeonje asks how she is supposed to prove it, he answers that if she is truly not seeing Woohyun, she should have no reason to avoid his calls from now on. She decides to slip out while Woohyun has likely gone another way, then tries to organize her thoughts about Jaehee sharing his door passcode, the contract marriage, and Taein’s possible hidden goal tied to Jaehee. After leaving, Yeonje concludes that Woohyun kept secrets to protect her and resolves to be prepared so he will not be in danger. Meanwhile Taein stays overnight nursing her sick father, who coughs through dinner yet expresses happiness about her marriage. She resents that her father keeps looking for Jaehee despite her long devotion, questioning whether it is because she is a stepdaughter and Jaehee is the son of the woman he loved. Her suspicion sharpens when her secretary reports that Jaehee phoned a woman, invited her to his house, and that Woohyun may have seen women’s clothing there. Taein orders the secretary to find the woman and bring her forward even if it crosses legal lines. By the end, My Boyfriend’s Wedding Chapter 6 links Yeonje’s secret visit, Woohyun’s discovery, and Taein’s investigation into one escalating risk.
