Shangri-La Frontier — Chapter 63

Shangri-La Frontier Chapter 63 is pure, unfiltered Sunraku chaos, and it perfectly captures why the Wolfgang clan feels less like a top-tier guild and more like a found family of beautiful disasters. Picking up right after the official formation of the clan, this chapter wastes no time throwing its newfound teamwork into the blender. The central event is of course the infamous Inventoria incident. After unlocking the game-changing storage magic from the Crystal Scorpions, Sunraku does the most Sunraku thing imaginable and accidentally unloads the entire treasury in the middle of the clan's first official outing. What was supposed to be a cool debut for Schwarz Vulf instantly becomes a slapstick avalanche of loot, panic, and screaming. It is a brilliant piece of plot progression because it reframes Inventoria from a convenient power-up into a volatile liability, raising the stakes for how Sunraku will have to master it. Character-wise, this is a fantastic showcase for the trio dynamic. Pencilgon is in full gremlin mode, absolutely reveling in the mayhem she helped enable, while Oicazzo plays the exasperated straight man. And poor Emul steals every panel she is in, swinging between adorable mascot and traumatized victim of Sunraku's Emul-hammer tendencies. The chapter also leans into the growing fan sympathy for the Vorpal Bunnies as a whole, the long-suffering watchdogs forced to babysit a protagonist cursed to 1 HP who still plays like he is invincible. Emotionally, the theme is hubris meets camaraderie. Sunraku's reckless, glass-cannon philosophy that carried him through Wezaemon and Lycagon is now a direct threat to his own friends, forcing him to confront whether he can actually be a team player. The art sells it beautifully, with Fuji Ryousuke packing panels with absurd item density, expressive chibi reactions, and that perfect slow-zoom dread on Sunraku's bird mask as he realizes he messed up. It is less a battle chapter and more a comedy of errors that solidifies Wolfgang's identity: overpowered, underprepared, and endlessly entertaining.
