Taming the Marquess — Chapter 42
Chapter Summary
Wow, what a way to end Season 1! Readers are absolutely buzzing about Taming the Marquess - Chapter 42 [Season 1 Finale], and there's one major shocker that everyone's talking about: the contract marriage couple actually had their wedding night! 😳
Most readers were delightfully surprised, saying it's a refreshing break from the usual trope where the couple avoids 'spousal duties' in a contract setup. People loved seeing Lara and Dyck finally get close, praising the tenderness and Dyck's focus on consent (though a few debated his "I won't be able to stop" line 🤔). The chemistry was clearly on fire! 🔥
Of course, given the excitement, some wished for more details and perhaps, yes, a bit more smutty goodness! 😉 And let's not forget the unofficial hashtag that popped up everywhere: #LaraGotTheDyck 😂. Now the biggest challenge? The long wait for Season 2!
