The Return of the 8th Class Mage — Chapter 5

Get ready for a serious dose of "aww!" because The Return of the 8th Class Mage, Chapter 5 has captivated readers, and it's all thanks to one adorable character: the summoned spirit puppy! 🐺💖

Fans are absolutely smitten with the tiny, tail-wagging wolf cub, calling it "too cute" and "adddooooraaabbllleeeee!" Many readers confessed they'd summon one just for belly rubs and cuddles, making the reveal of a cute "baby wolf" instead of a scary beast a truly delightful moment. It even sparked comparisons to Naruto's tadpole summon! 😂

Beyond the fluffy companion, readers are loving how incredibly *OP* the MC, Ian, is, especially with that ring-boosted power. His rationality also earned a "chef's kiss" from appreciative fans. While some couldn't help but notice familiar manhwa tropes, like the un-interrogated skills or typical female reactions, others found humor in the "old man turning his back on goblins" moment, which apparently gave some a heart attack! 😱 Overall, it seems the combination of an overpowered mage and an irresistibly cute sidekick is a winning formula, with many shouting out thanks to the translators too! ✨
