Chapter Summary

Whew, The Return of the 8th Class Mage, Chapter 73, truly got readers fired up! 🔥 Many felt like they'd seen this movie before, with some complaining the chapter was a "waste" or "filler" that just rehashed old info from Ragnar's perspective. "Didn't we see this already?" was a common refrain, with frustration brewing over the re-told betrayal.

But boy, did Ragnar's POV do *something* alright – it amplified the hate! Readers are absolutely fuming at the audacity of "twathead" Ragnar crying and complaining after betraying Ian. He's called out for being paranoid, narcissistic, and having "useless tears." Seriously, the vitriol is palpable! 🤬 Many felt his reasoning was insignificant and just showed he was never truly Ian's friend.

While the majority were left more infuriated than ever, a few brave souls found the chapter "beautifully tragic," appreciating the depth it added to the betrayal and Ragnar's complex, fear-driven character. It's safe to say this chapter cemented Ragnar as one of manhwa's most deliciously hated villains. Oh, and a fun side note: some readers are excited there's finally a FL! 😉
