Plot-wise, the chapter moves their class project forward, but the real progression is emotional rather than academic. Hae-su's sunny persistence continues to be the perfect counterbalance. Where Su-yeon withdraws, Hae-su leans in, not with pressure but with an almost disarming sincerity. Their banter carries that classic push-pull energy BL fans love, but there is a new undercurrent of care here. A shared moment, whether over music practice or a quiet conversation outside of class, forces Su-yeon to confront that Hae-su actually remembers their night together in vivid, affectionate detail, while Su-yeon himself tried to bury it. Emotionally, the theme is all about surfacing. Su-yeon has spent so long trying to stay numb and submerged, using fleeting encounters to silence his fears, and Hae-su represents the light from above the water. The chapter does a beautiful job showing how terrifying that light can be for someone used to the dark. Artistically, Wabec shines with expressive close-ups and fluid body language. The contrast between Su-yeon's tense hands at the piano and Hae-su's relaxed, open posture in and out of the pool says everything without dialogue. The soft screentones and intimate paneling make every lingering glance feel charged, setting up fans for a deeper dive into their complicated connection.
