In this chapter, Lee Doyoung recalls the past: the days he fell asleep to the sound of rain beside his sick father, his closeness with his relative Lee Juyoung, and his family breaking apart with his mother going to the Netherlands and his father to Germany. He narrates how, while drifting at school, he failed to notice the bullying and what happened between Yoon Ji-won and Lee Juyoung.
