True to his reputation as Bofurin's walking encyclopedia, he unloads a massive info dump about Endo and the dark history surrounding him, connecting dots back to the KEEL incident. It is a great character moment because his frantic explaining is both comic relief and genuine worldbuilding. He voices what every reader is thinking, that this guy is on a completely different level. The contrast is perfect, with Nirei's nervous energy and earnest loyalty bouncing off Sakura's growing unease and quiet determination. Emotionally, the core theme is belonging versus unworthiness. Endo zeroes in on Sakura's deepest insecurity, the lingering fear that he does not truly deserve his place in Bofurin. It is a cruel psychological jab rather than a physical one, and it hits harder because Sakura has only just started to accept friendship. Yet instead of breaking him, it seems to steel him. You can see the growth from the lonely stray cat who wanted only to be the strongest into a Grade Captain who wants to protect his place alongside others. Artistically, Satoru Nii leans into expressions here. Endo's lazy, predatory grin is chilling against the tense, wide eyed reactions of the first years, making his overwhelming aura felt without throwing a single punch yet.
