Kaiju Girl Caramelise Anime Adaptation Starts on July 2: New Trailer and Visual Released

The long-awaited anime adaptation of Kaiju Girl Caramelise (Japanese title: Otome Kaijuu Caramelise) finally has a release date. According to official sources, the series will premiere on Japanese television on July 2, 2025. Along with the announcement, the second key visual and second main trailer were also released.
The new trailer features exciting scenes of the main character Kuroe Akaishi transforming into a giant monster due to emotional fluctuations and her efforts to cope with this unusual situation. It was also announced that the opening theme song will be performed by the group METANICK, while the ending song is produced in collaboration with famous music producer HoneyWorks and Hakoniwa Lily.
Kaiju Girl Caramelise, which has received great acclaim in the manga world, is a romantic comedy series written and illustrated by Spica Aoki. The story revolves around high school student Kuroe, who unintentionally transforms into a giant creature when she gets excited around the boy she loves. This absurd yet endearing concept quickly gained popularity among readers, and an anime adaptation was announced in 2024.
Although the anime's production studio has not been officially announced, the released visuals showcase a high-quality art style.
