Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 Set for July 2026: New Trailer and Massive Cast Announced!

The most charismatic skeleton knight of the isekai world is returning! News regarding the long-awaited 2nd season of Skeleton Knight in Another World (Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekake-chuu) has finally been confirmed. According to the official announcement, the new season will meet viewers in July 2026. The new trailer and visual shared with the announcement promise that the series will maintain its atmosphere while increasing the dose of action. Additionally, just like in the first season, the ending theme (ED) will be performed by the popular music group DIALOGUE+ with their song "Kiseki wa Okinai" (Miracles Won't Happen).
The names joining the cast in the new season are truly a star-studded lineup. Experienced voice actors such as Toshihiko Seki (Eevin), Kensho Ono (Sasuke), Junichi Suwabe (Thanatos), Kenji Akabane (Parurumo), Go Shinomiya (Bartod), and Hitomi Ueda (Tsubone) will join Arc and Ariane's journey. On the technical side, a significant change is notable; Aura Studio is taking over from Studio Kai and HORNETS, who prepared the first season. However, Katsumi Ono remains in the director's chair, while Toshizo Nemoto takes over the reins on the script side.
Adapted from the light novel series written by Ennki Hakari and illustrated by KeG, the production first stepped into the anime world in 2022. The story of Arc, who is trapped in a game world and confined to a skeleton body, searching for justice in this new world, was quickly loved for the fun and action-packed approach it brought to the isekai genre. This announcement, coming after a four-year hiatus following the first season, opens the door to a period where the story will deepen and new regions will be explored. The manga adaptation of the series continues to be drawn by Akira Sawano.
Another piece of good news for fans is on the music side. PelleK, who signed off on the unforgettable opening song of the first season, is also returning for the opening theme (OP) of the second season. While there is curiosity about how the visual quality will change with the production moving to Aura Studio, the released trailer shows that the series' unique style has been preserved. If you have missed the adventures of Arc, Ariane, and the adorable Ponta, don't forget to mark your calendars for July 2026!
