Aksys Games Announces Localization of Many New Games: "Another Eden Begins", "Olympia Soirée -Catharsis-", and More

Aksys Games, a publisher specializing in bringing Japanese games to the West, announced in a comprehensive statement on July 3, 2026, that it will bring eight new games to English-speaking players. The announced games include “Another Eden Begins”, “Olympia Soirée -Catharsis-”, “Bounty Sisters”, “Illusion of Itehari -trail-”, “Cthulhu Mythos Adventures”, “Undergrounded”, “Over Requiemz”, and “Tristia: Chronicles”.
This announcement is an indication of Aksys Games' investment in the visual novel and otome genres. The company previously brought popular otome games such as “Collar x Malice”, “Piofiore: Fated Memories”, and “Code: Realize” to Western players. The newly announced “Olympia Soirée -Catharsis-” stands out as an expanded version of the famous otome game originally released in Japan in 2021. “Another Eden Begins” could be a new side story set in the universe of the mobile RPG “Another Eden” previously published by Aksys – though the company has not yet shared detailed information.
The other games on the list also reflect genre diversity. “Bounty Sisters” and “Illusion of Itehari -trail-” stand out as new examples of the visual novel and adventure genres, while “Cthulhu Mythos Adventures”, as its name implies, focuses on H.P. Lovecraft's horror universe. “Undergrounded”, “Over Requiemz”, and “Tristia: Chronicles” can be described as projects from different corners of Japanese game culture, giving more of an indie feel. Aksys stated that most of these games will receive English localization for the first time.
Aksys Games' move shows that the demand for Japanese visual novels in the West is still strong. In particular, otome fans are looking forward to the expansion of the original game's romantic stories with new content in “Olympia Soirée -Catharsis-”. On the other hand, a spin-off like “Another Eden Begins” could attract both existing fans and new players. The company announced that it will reveal the release dates and platforms for the games in the coming months. Additionally, these games are expected to be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and PC platforms, much like Aksys' previous releases.
