J-Novel Club Announces 7 New Light Novels and 2 Manga Licenses, 13 Print Releases Coming

J-Novel Club announced in a comprehensive announcement on July 3, 2026, that it has licensed seven new light novels, two new manga, and that thirteen print releases will hit shelves. Notably, highly anticipated series such as 'Sorry Darling, but You Won't Kill Me Again!', 'A Young Maiden's Growing Pains', and 'Last Summer Sparkle' stand out among the new additions to the English translation library.
This announcement is considered part of J-Novel Club's licensing wave for the summer 2026 season. The company previously brought popular series such as Mushoku Tensei, The Rising of the Shield Hero, and How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom to English readers. Among the newly added titles are the romantic thriller series 'Sorry Darling, but You Won't Kill Me Again!', the slice-of-life story 'A Young Maiden's Growing Pains', and the nostalgic youth novel 'Last Summer Sparkle'. Additionally, with two new manga licenses, a total of thirteen printed books are expected to be on shelves in the coming months.
Since its founding in 2016, J-Novel Club has played a pioneering role in bringing Japanese-origin light novels and manga to English-speaking audiences. The company's digital-focused publishing model is known for offering simultaneous chapter translations with Japan. In recent years, the publisher has also focused on the print book market, increasing diversity by adding works from different genres such as romantic comedy and psychological thriller to its catalog, in addition to steampunk, fantasy, and isekai.
These licenses also create the potential for publishing rights to be sold in languages other than English (including Turkish). Many series licensed by J-Novel Club have later been translated into Turkish by local publishers (such as Mushoku Tensei). Fans can expect the digital and print versions of these newly announced titles to be released gradually over the coming months. Official translation schedules and pricing details can be tracked through J-Novel Club's website and social media channels.
