Jump+ Jumble Rush Mobile Game Closing on September 17
Shueisha's digital manga platform Jump+ has announced that its mobile game Jump+ Jumble Rush will cease service as of September 17, 2026. The game was released on iOS and Android on September 24, 2025, meaning it had a short lifespan of just 11 months.
Jump+ Jumble Rush was a puzzle game that brought together characters from popular Jump series. Players scored points by matching beloved characters from series such as One Piece, Dragon Ball, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Spy x Family. However, the game failed to attract the expected interest since its launch and could not withstand the intense competition in the mobile game market.
Looking at Shueisha's other moves in the gaming industry, it's not surprising that Jump+ Jumble Rush shut down quickly, unlike longer-lasting titles like Jumputi Heroes. Many mobile games barely last a year, and licensed character games especially struggle to maintain player engagement. The closure announcement was made on the official store pages and within the Jump+ app. Players should hurry to spend any premium currency they have, as all data will be deleted after September 17.
The Jump+ platform aimed to grow not only through manga publishing but also with mobile games, but the closure of Jump+ Jumble Rush once again highlights the challenges in this field.
