Live-Action Zelda Movie Cast Adds Four New Names; Love is Better the Second Time Around Season 2 Announces Three Actors

Nintendo's highly anticipated live-action The Legend of Zelda film has added four new names to its cast. According to news from Deadline, Sam Neill, Dichen Lachman, Yvonne Strahovski, and Uli Latukefu will be part of the project. It was stated that Lachman will portray the character Impa, and Latukefu will play the series' legendary villain Ganondorf. The roles of Sam Neill and Yvonne Strahovski have not yet been announced.

The Legend of Zelda, which has held a special place in the hearts of millions of players since 1986, had only officially received its long-discussed film adaptation in 2023. The film, produced by Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad and directed by Wes Ball, will be distributed by Sony Pictures. It is planned to hit theaters on March 26, 2027. With these new actors added, the project has moved one step closer to the filming process.

Impa frequently appears in the games as the loyal guardian of Princess Zelda and an important member of the Sheikah people.
