Nintendo Switch 2 has brought its total sales to 23.68 million units as of June 30. According to financial data reported by Anime News Network, the console sold 3.82 million units in the first quarter of Nintendo's fiscal year covering April-June. Thus, Switch 2 surpassed the 23 million threshold approximately 13 months after its worldwide launch on June 5, 2025.
Nintendo's new flagship draws attention with features such as a 7.9-inch 1080p/120 Hz screen, 4K-supported dock mode, GameChat, and mouse mode. Additionally, offering backward compatibility with the previous Nintendo Switch library makes it easy for players to transfer their existing games to the new console.
