According to the latest official reports, the highly anticipated new entry in the series, Silent Hill f, has reached 2 million sales worldwide, while the series' masterpiece, Silent Hill 2 Remake, has reached a massive player count of 6 million. Silent Hill f holds special significance, especially for fans of the anime and visual novel worlds. The game's story was penned by Ryukishi07, the brilliant mind behind cult works such as Higurashi: When They Cry and Umineko.
