Splatoon Raiders Release Date Announced: Arriving Alongside Deep Cut Amiibo!

The long-awaited news for Nintendo fans has finally arrived! The first spin-off of the series, Splatoon Raiders, is preparing to meet players on July 23, 2026, with its newly released trailer. Developed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 platform, this new adventure focuses on a single-player experience, differing from the series' usual multiplayer structure. Moreover, on the same day as the game's release, new amiibo figures of the series' beloved idol group, Deep Cut, will also hit the shelves.
Set in a mysterious region called the Spirhalite Islands, Splatoon Raiders puts players in control of a new hero known as the "Mechanic." After a helicopter crash, our hero, who is stranded on these islands along with the Deep Cut team consisting of Shiver, Frye, and Big Man, will struggle to survive and uncover the secrets of the island. The trailer shows that players can customize their own characters and craft various mechanical devices and ink weapons to fight against hordes of Salmonids.
One of the most striking aspects of the game is that the Deep Cut members play an active role not only in the story but also in gameplay. The members will support the player during battles by using small robots (mechs). The news that will delight collectors is that new amiibo figures of these three characters will be released in a "Splatoon Raiders Edition." These figures will unlock special equipment in the game and will be available for purchase on July 23 in both single and triple packs.
The Splatoon series, which entered our lives in 2015 with the Wii U, has become one of Nintendo's most successful modern franchises, selling over 30 million copies worldwide to date. Following the success of Splatoon 3, this spin-off expands the series' universe while blending survival and adventure elements with shooter mechanics. Priced at $49.99 for the digital version and $59.99 for the physical version, the game is seen as one of the strongest titles in the Switch 2's 2026 summer calendar.
