The partnership aims to bring new intellectual properties to life through an integrated process that spans from manga to anime and then to merchandising products. Twin Engine's producer identity combined with Bandai's strength in branding and product distribution offers a model that could provide a solution to the frequently discussed problem in the anime world of "quickly bringing a story to fans."
Founded in 2014, Twin Engine is a prominent name in the planning and production management of anime projects. The company also owns Mag Garden, which operates in the manga publishing sector. Therefore, this partnership prepares a foundation for Twin Engine to control not only animation but also the source material of the story.
Bandai, meanwhile, is one of the most established toy and entertainment companies, founded in Japan in 1950. With brands ranging from Gundam model kits to Digimon and Tamagotchi, it has significant expertise in commercialization.
