Drecom's New Manga Platform Dricomi+ Launches: First Series "Endevi" Debuts

It is an eventful day in the world of digital manga! Japanese technology and entertainment giant Drecom officially launched its new web manga platform Dricomi+ (Dricomi Plus) on April 27 as part of its strategy to expand its content portfolio. The most significant development marking the platform's opening is the debut of Endevi, the new series by Siam Kokonoe, a beloved name in the Boys' Love (BL) genre. This new venture aims to provide a space for independent artists while bringing Drecom's own intellectual properties (IP) to a wider audience.
The new series Endevi is described as a high-humor BL comedy focusing on the daily lives of an angel and a demon who are "eternal partners." Siam Kokonoe is known for works such as Kimi no Yoru ni Fureru (Touching Your Night), which gained worldwide attention and is recognized for its emotional depth. However, this time, the artist explores the absurd and intimate relationship between two polar opposites with a lighter and more fun tone. The series began its publication in collaboration with the HERO’S Web platform.
This move by Drecom is not a surprise; in recent years, the company has been making significant investments in the webtoon and light novel market under the DRE Studios and DRE Novels brands. The establishment of the Dricomi+ platform is seen as the final piece completing the company's digital publishing ecosystem. On the platform's opening day, not only Endevi but two other new series in different genres were also unveiled. This proves that Drecom intends to build a library that appeals to a broad readership rather than focusing on a single genre.
For manga lovers, this new platform offers a great opportunity to access new and original content from artists with a loyal fan base, such as Siam Kokonoe. Industry analysts predict that by leveraging its history in game development, Drecom may adapt the manga on this platform into anime or games in the future. New series to be added to the platform in the coming months and potential news of English language support are eagerly awaited by the global manga community.
