Japan Weekly Manga Sales: Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo and Kagurabachi at the Top!

Comic Natalie, one of Japan's most prestigious sales tracking platforms, has shared the weekly manga sales data covering the period from May 4 to May 10, 2026. At the top of the list is the 3rd volume of the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo series, set in the world of Gege Akutami and illustrated by Yuji Iwasaki. Selling 134,102 copies in its first week, this new volume has once again proven the loyalty of the series' fanbase. Bringing a fresh breath of air to the Jujutsu Kaisen universe, this spin-off continues to captivate readers with its dark atmosphere and action-packed scenes.
In second place on the list is Kagurabachi, one of the biggest breakout series of recent times. The 11th volume of the series, signed by Takeru Hokazono, is moving steadily toward becoming a modern classic with a sales figure of 65,138 copies. The relentless struggle of Chihiro and Hakuri against the Hishaku group has made the series one of the most followed titles in Shonen Jump. Particularly drawing attention with its sword-fighting choreographies, Kagurabachi is displaying one of the most consistent sales charts of 2026.
In third place is a side series that brings a smile to One Piece fans: ONE PIECE CHOPPER's Volume 1. This special volume, which collects full-color illustrations and short stories that have received great attention on social media, has exceeded 320,000 copies in total with 38,152 weekly sales. The year 2026 is generally passing quite busily for the manga industry.
