Saito Mado's New Cyber Horror Series "Yattekuru" Begins in Monthly Comic Beam

"Kaiju wo Kaibou suru" (The Anatomy of the Monster) manga artist Saito Mado has launched a brand new cyber horror series. This new manga, titled "Yattekuru" (It's Coming), officially began with the July issue of Monthly Comic Beam published on June 12, 2025. Publisher KADOKAWA presented the first chapter of the series to readers in the magazine's 7th issue.
Mado's previous work, "Kaiju wo Kaibou suru", was a unique sci-fi horror blend that deeply examined the anatomical structure of giant monsters. His new series "Yattekuru", on the other hand, is set in cyberspace and focuses on digital fears and technological nightmares. Mado's signature detailed artwork and unsettling atmosphere are also evident in the new series.
Monthly Comic Beam is a magazine published by KADOKAWA since 1995, featuring especially experimental and adult-themed manga. Although it has previously hosted popular series such as "K-On!" and "A Silent Voice", it has begun to focus more on horror and psychological thriller genres in recent years. Mado starting a new cyber horror series in this magazine is an exciting development for both fans of the genre and the magazine's readership.
Saito Mado is known for skillfully blending biological and mechanical horror. In "Kaiju wo Kaibou suru", he drew the internal organs, nervous systems, and cellular structures of monsters with the precision of a scientist. This time, he turns to the 'monsters' of the digital world. With "Yattekuru", readers will be drawn into a nightmare where virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and cyber attacks intertwine.
Having just met the audience with its first chapter, what the series will bring in upcoming issues is a matter of curiosity. It is a work that should be followed not only by fans of Saito Mado's previous works, but also by anyone interested in cyberpunk and psychological horror genres. The first chapter can be read at official sales points of Monthly Comic Beam and on digital platforms.
