A Room Without Space

A Room Without Space is a psychological thriller that plunges readers into a suffocating mystery from the very first panel. Song Gi Tae awakens in a stark, windowless room, only to discover a horrific reality: he is chained, his left leg has been amputated, and his last memory is of walking with his boyfriend at the age of twenty. However, the man keeping him captive, Cha Ji Hoon, claims that years have passed and that he is merely taking care of him. Ji Hoon’s behavior is a disturbing paradox; he provides three meals a day and warm smiles, acting more like a devoted caregiver than a kidnapper, which only deepens Gi Tae's fear and confusion.

As Gi Tae struggles to escape his chains and piece together his fragmented memory, the line between captor and savior begins to blur. The series masterfully builds tension through the claustrophobic setting and the complex dynamic between the two men. Readers are left questioning whether Ji Hoon is a sadistic manipulator playing a sick game or if he is hiding a truth too painful for Gi Tae to bear. With themes of amnesia, obsession, and survival, this webtoon offers a gripping narrative that challenges the definition of trust and reality.
