Banana Scandal

Life studying abroad in the US was supposed to be Dojin’s fresh start, but things take a complicated turn when his roommate leaves and is replaced by his younger brother, Taehee. On the surface, Taehee is a handsome but gloomy introvert who keeps to himself. However, the dynamic shifts overnight when Dojin wakes up to a shocking discovery: Taehee is masturbating to him while he sleeps. Instead of being repulsed, Dojin finds himself strangely intrigued, leading to a scandalous proposition that binds them in a secret, physical relationship.

As the series progresses, what starts as a purely physical 'banana scandal' evolves into a genuine exploration of intimacy, trust, and vulnerability. Dojin and Taehee must navigate the awkwardness of their arrangement while confronting their growing feelings for one another. The story balances laugh-out-loud comedic moments with steamy encounters, making it a favorite among BL fans who enjoy the 'friends-with-benefits' to lovers trope.

Beyond the main couple, Banana Scandal is praised for its depth and character development, eventually expanding its focus in later seasons to explore the angst-filled history between Dojin’s former roommate, Taehwan, and his own complex romantic entanglements. With its unique art style by Dolsha and a narrative that matures from lighthearted smut to emotional drama, this manhwa offers a satisfying journey for readers looking for both heat and heart.
