A World Without You

For as long as he can remember, Han Sekye has relied on a single source of comfort: a blonde man who appears in his dreams to soothe his loneliness. This dream figure became his anchor, the only thing keeping him tethered to sanity in a harsh world. But when the dreams abruptly stop, Sekye's life spirals out of control, leaving him trapped in a deep depression with no way to cope. Just as he thinks all hope is lost, he crosses paths with Woo Yijun, an aspiring actor who bears an uncanny, identical resemblance to the man who vanished from his sleep.

Seeing a chance to restore his 'world,' Sekye makes Yijun an unusual offer: he will pay him to act as the man from the dreams. Yijun, needing the work, agrees to the role, stepping into a script written by Sekye's desperate memories. However, what begins as a transactional contract soon becomes complicated. As Yijun perfectly executes the role of the perfect savior, Sekye finds himself struggling to distinguish between the actor and the illusion. A World Without You is a poignant exploration of grief, obsession, and the messy reality of falling in love with a person rather than a fantasy.
