For talented architect Jae, a solo trip to Spain isn't just a vacation—it's a desperate bid for survival. Haunted by the trauma of a controlling and abusive relationship, she seeks refuge in a foreign land to rebuild her shattered sense of self. Fate intervenes in the form of a classic rom-com mix-up: she is accidentally assigned to the same hotel suite as Joff, a handsome and wildly successful businessman. Unlike the domineering men of her past, Joff is respectful, kind, and genuinely intrigued by Jae’s resilience and talent, sparking a chemistry that Jae never thought she’d feel again.
As their connection deepens amidst the scenic backdrop of Spain, Jae begins to hope that she can finally move forward. Joff, the head of a global hotel group, finds himself falling for the one woman who doesn't care about his status. However, Another Love is far from a simple love story. The genre shifts into a gripping psychological thriller when the sinister figure from Jae’s past tracks her down, refusing to let his possession go. The series masterfully balances the sweetness of a blossoming romance with the high-stakes tension of a stalker drama.
Readers will be drawn in by the realistic portrayal of trauma recovery and the healthy, supportive dynamic between the leads, which stands in stark contrast to the villain's toxicity. As the danger escalates, Jae must decide if she is ready to trust again, while Joff must prove that his love is strong enough to protect her. If you are looking for a webtoon that delivers both swoon-worthy romance and edge-of-your-seat suspense, this series is a must-read.
