Ryu Jaerin lives a double life: a cool college student by day and a shut-in fangirl by night, obsessing over the noble character Hwi from the hit period drama "Hwaya." However, her fantasy clashes with reality when she lands a job as an extra and meets the man behind the mask: Ahn, a narcissistic actor who is nothing like the gallant hero he portrays. Disaster strikes during filming when a mysterious accident transports both Jaerin and Ahn directly into the fictional world of the drama.
Trapped in a historical setting where the director never yells "cut," the stakes become life-or-death. Jaerin is forced to step into the role of Hwaya, the legendary Dragon Maiden destined to save the country, while Ahn must rely on his acting chops to survive as Hwi. The catch?
