Whew, **Our Youth [Official]** **Chapter 6** really had readers in their feelings! 💔 The chapter focused on some heavy stuff, like neglect and abuse, which understandably left many feeling heartbroken for the characters going through such difficult lives.
A big topic of conversation was Heechan – readers deeply sympathize with him facing abuse at home. BUT, there's a strong reaction to his involvement (even if passive) with the school bullies. Many find it hard to reconcile his suffering with his role as a bystander or associate of those hurting another student, Young-Ho. 🤔 Some feel he should show more empathy given his own experience, while others see him as a victim caught in a cycle or just trying to survive by associating with power.
Readers are also collectively frustrated with the absent or harmful adults in the story – parents and teachers alike are seen as failing these kids. The overwhelming hope is for character development, especially for Heechan and the MC, wishing to see them grow and hopefully move towards a better future. Despite the sadness and realistic portrayal of difficult situations, fans are sticking around, hoping for change and maybe, just maybe, some happier moments later on. ✨
