Our Youth

Jinhyuk is the epitome of a model student: quiet, diligent, and laser-focused on his future. Viewing his high school years as nothing more than a stepping stone, he adopts the role of a detached bystander, determined to keep his head down until he can secure his independence with a university acceptance letter. He has no interest in the drama of his peers, especially not the notorious "delinquents" who seem determined to waste their youth.

However, Jinhyuk’s worldview is shattered when he inadvertently stumbles upon the private life of Heechan, a classmate feared for his aggressive reputation. Contrary to the school rumors, Jinhyuk witnesses Heechan not as a perpetrator, but as a victim of brutal domestic abuse at the hands of his father. This shocking revelation forces Jinhyuk to step out of his comfort zone, unable to ignore the pain hiding behind Heechan’s rebellious facade.

As Jinhyuk is drawn deeper into Heechan’s turbulent world, the boundaries between their lives dissolve. Our Youth is a raw and emotional BL manhwa that delves into the complex dynamics of aggressors, victims, and bystanders. With its realistic portrayal of trauma and a tender, slow-burn romance, this series asks a powerful question: can one person become the sanctuary another desperately needs to survive their youth?
