Short Circuit Love

In the vibrant world of Short Circuit Love, Seol Jaeha and Lee Hyun are the definition of inseparable. Having been best friends since childhood, they do everything together, and while Jaeha enjoys immense popularity at school, he only has eyes for the oblivious Hyun. Jaeha’s way of showing affection is through constant, playful teasing—a dynamic that has worked for years until the arrival of a new transfer student, Kim Doyoung, turns their world upside down.

Kim Doyoung is a serious student who quickly becomes Jaeha’s personal nightmare. After witnessing Jaeha’s flirtatious prodding, Doyoung misinterprets the behavior as malicious bullying and decides to become Hyun’s self-appointed guardian. As Doyoung spends more time shielding Hyun, Jaeha finds himself pushed to the sidelines, unable to make his move. The tension between the two rivals escalates with every encounter, leading to a cycle of comedic misfortunes and heated stand-offs that neither of them expected.

The series masterfully explores the enemies-to-lovers trope through the lens of a massive misunderstanding. While Jaeha struggles to reclaim his place by Hyun's side, he begins to realize that his friction with Doyoung might be generating a different kind of spark altogether. Readers will enjoy the beautiful art style and the chemistry that develops when two people who think they hate each other are forced to see the truth. Short Circuit Love is a refreshing, lighthearted take on youth, jealousy, and the unexpected ways that love can find its way through a maze of confusion.
