Puppy Ever After

Gyujin seems to have it all: he is the handsome, pure-blooded heir of a prestigious blue-eyed German Shepherd family. However, at 26 years old, he is still a virgin and facing immense pressure from his parents to settle down. When they try to force him into an arranged marriage with a female shepherd to preserve the family lineage, Gyujin panics. In a spur-of-the-moment bid for freedom, he drops a bombshell lie: he is actually attracted to small dogs, not shepherds.

To back up his claim, Gyujin turns to the only person he trusts—his childhood friend, Youngwoon. As a small breed, Youngwoon fits the description perfectly, but he isn't going to help for free. He agrees to the scheme on one tricky condition: Gyujin must sell the performance by acting like he is head-over-heels in love with him. What starts as a desperate charade quickly complicates as Gyujin's 'acting' begins to blur the lines of their long-standing friendship.

Puppy Ever After delivers a delightful mix of romantic comedy and slice-of-life drama, exploring the classic 'fake dating' trope with a unique anthropomorphic twist. As the two navigate family dinners and public dates, readers will be hooked by the adorable size difference and the simmering chemistry between the gentle giant Gyujin and the feisty Youngwoon. If you love stories about childhood friends becoming lovers and sweet, chaotic romances, this webtoon is a must-read.
