The Origin of Species

In a society governed by the rigid hierarchy of the Omegaverse, Lee Youngjin is an anomaly. As a recessive Omega, he lacks the superhuman physical traits typically associated with his species, leading a lonely life until he is recruited as a professional hacker. Under the guidance of a mysterious figure known as 'Teacher,' Youngjin becomes a master of the digital shadows. However, his luck runs out during a high-stakes mission to intercept a classified weapon at a secret auction. Caught by the target himself—the formidable Alpha CEO Seo Seunghyun—Youngjin is forced to negotiate for his life and the safety of his colleagues.

Seo Seunghyun is a self-made titan of industry who values efficiency and control above all else. Intrigued by the audacity of the small, 'faulty' Omega who dares to bargain with him, Seunghyun accepts a shocking proposal: Youngjin will provide the keys to the encrypted data he seeks, but only if Seunghyun agrees to an intimate and compromising arrangement. What begins as a cold, transactional contract quickly spirals into a complex psychological game of cat and mouse. As Seunghyun becomes increasingly obsessed with the enigmatic hacker, Youngjin find himself trapped in a web of corporate espionage and burgeoning desire.

The Origin of Species stands out for its sophisticated blend of international crime drama and intense romance. With a focus on character development and the shifting power dynamics between its leads, the series delves into themes of survival, debt, and the biological imperatives of the Alpha and Omega roles. Readers will be captivated by the sharp, detailed artwork and the slow-burn tension as Seunghyun and Youngjin navigate a world of market manipulation, secret auctions, and a connection that threatens to upend both of their lives.
