[Aleksander]: Ah, apologies...
[Aleksander]: Yes... And the time was certainly not right...
[Emma]: Well, that's because I didn't tell you.
[Aleksander]: I didn't know you were un- dressed...
[Emma]: All I said was: "Come in when the time is right!"
[Emma]: I didn't want to keep you waiting...
[Aleksander]: You don't say "Enter!"...
[Emma]: Your coat is so heavy!
[Aleksander]: Without at least putting a bathrobe on. Or anything at all!
[Aleksander]: That's because I'm so tall.
[Aleksander]: You told me to come in because you had something to ask, right?
[Aleksander]: Get dressed first. And do your hair...
[Emma]: Ah...
[Emma]: Indeed...
[Emma]: A ques- tion...
[Emma]: I wanted you to tell me what to wear today.
[Aleksander]: We'll talk about your question later...
[Emma]: What question?
[Emma]: Hello?
[Emma]: Is anybody theeere?
[Aleksander]: It's a sickness, when you poke at me, I lose my voice.
[Emma]: Hmph...
[Emma]: I'm doing nothing of the sort!
Chapter Summary
Veil Vol. 2 - Chapter 16 finds Emma and Aleksander flustered after he enters her room while she is undressed. Aleksander apologizes, saying the time was not right and he did not know, while Emma teases that she told him to come in when the time was right. Embarrassed by her undressed state, he urges her to get dressed and do her hair. The tension softens into sweet banter when Emma reveals her question was asking him what to wear today.
