New Screening Formats and Special Visual Released for Kingdom: Soul's Decision

Kingdom: Soul's Decision has received an exciting announcement. The third live-action film in the series will meet audiences in multiple premium formats before its release in Japan. According to Natalie, the film will also be screened in formats such as MX4D, 4DX, Dolby Cinema, SCREENX, and ULTRA 4DX. Accompanying this announcement, a special "decision battle visual" reveals the epic duel between the main character Shin and the enemy commander Baku Ketsu.
The Kingdom series, adapted from Hara's manga of the same name, tells an epic story set in China's Warring States period. The first film was released in 2019, and the second film Kingdom 2: To Far and Away was released in 2022. The third film Kingdom: Soul's Decision covers the Kanyou Kokuzen-sen arc (Battle of Hanyo). The film will be released in Japan on July 12, 2024. It is again directed by Shinsuke Sato, starring Kento Yamazaki (Shin), Ryo Yoshizawa (Ei Sei), and Kanna Hashimoto (Karyo Ten).
The premium format announcement holds great significance for Kingdom fans. Moving seat systems like MX4D and 4DX will make the cavalry battle scenes and sword fights even more impressive. The SCREENX format, with its side screens offering a 270-degree view, will bring the grandeur of the battlefield to the screen. With Dolby Cinema, sound and picture quality reach new heights, while ULTRA 4DX (a combination of 4DX and ScreenX) promises the most intense experience. These formats are perfectly suited to the Kingdom film, known especially for its big-budget action scenes.
The Kingdom manga has been serialized in Weekly Young Jump since 2006 and has sold over 100 million copies worldwide, setting records. The live-action adaptations have achieved great success both at the box office and critically in Japan. The first two films grossed over 10 billion yen in total. There are already high expectations for the third film; especially the excitement of the Battle of Hanyo is much talked about by manga readers. After the film's release in Japan on July 12, international screenings are also expected to be announced. Previous films have also been released in Turkey; therefore, it is possible that local distributors will make an announcement with similar formats soon.
