My Hero Academia: All's Justice Gains New Mini Game Mode with Nintendo Switch 2

The action game of the beloved My Hero Academia series, My Hero Academia: All's Justice, is getting a version for Nintendo's yet-to-be-officially-announced new console, the Switch 2. According to Anime News Network, the game will be released on September 4 and will include a special mini game mode in addition to the existing game.
This news is an exciting development for My Hero Academia fans. The manga created by Kohei Horikoshi has been published since 2014, and although it ended in 2024, the anime adaptation is still ongoing. The game series first began in 2018 with My Hero Academia: One's Justice, then expanded with One's Justice 2 (2020) and the battle royale game Ultra Rumble (2023). All's Justice was announced in 2024 and was touted as the most comprehensive fighting game in the series.
Although the new mini game mode offered by the Switch 2 version has not yet been detailed, it can be said that players expect a lighter and more fun experience different from the classic fighting mechanics. Considering Nintendo's online infrastructure and portable nature, this mode is likely to be in a party game format that can be played in short sessions with friends. Additionally, it is anticipated that the story mode and multiplayer matches present in the base version will also be adapted to the Switch 2.
This announcement is seen as part of Nintendo's strategy to enrich the game library for its new console. The My Hero Academia games, which achieved great success during the Switch era, will continue to exist on the next generation. Fans can expect more images and mode details about the game until September 4. If you don't already have All's Justice, you'll have the chance to experience all the content in a single package with the release of the Switch 2 version.
