One Piece 2nd Global Character Poll Interim Results: Straw Hat Pirates Hold Onto the Top Spot!

Excitement is at its peak in the world of One Piece! The anticipated interim results for the 2nd Global Character Poll (World Top 100), organized in honor of the series surpassing 600 million copies sold worldwide, have finally been shared. In this massive poll, where over 10 million votes were cast globally, the series' main protagonist Monkey D. Luffy maintained his top position as expected, while his loyal companions Roronoa Zoro and Sanji followed closely, securing the top three spots.
The most striking point of the interim results was the Straw Hat Pirates crew making a full display of strength by having all members within the top 30. In the top 10 list, alongside familiar faces, some surprising names also stand out. Nami solidified her fourth position, while Trafalgar Law ranked fifth, and Nico Robin sixth. Uta, who entered our lives with One Piece Film: Red, settled into ninth place, proving that her global popularity is not temporary. Furthermore, Loki, one of the key figures from the Elbaph Arc, entering the list at 21st place, demonstrates the impact of the current storyline on fans.
This massive poll is the first major event of its kind to take place five years after the initial global poll conducted in 2021 as part of the 1000th chapter celebrations. Eiichiro Oda's legendary series is currently in its final stretch, known as the "Final Saga" in the manga world, and events on Elbaph island are continuing at full speed. For fans, the importance of this poll is not limited to just measuring popularity; special illustrations will be created by Oda for the characters at the top, and these characters will in 2027
