New Manga by You Got Me, Sempai! Author Azusa Mase: Kumo Gakure Romantic

Anime News Network's report, Azusa Mase, creator of the You Got Me, Sempai! manga, will meet readers with her new series Kumo Gakure Romantic on August 24. Mase's project is seen as a return that shoujo manga readers have been eagerly awaiting.
Azusa Mase had previously gained a large fan base with You Got Me, Sempai!, which was published in Kodansha's Dessert magazine. The series, which tells the sweet love of a high school girl for a cold upperclassman senpai, reached readers both in Japan and internationally thanks to Kodansha USA's digital license. Mase had carved out a unique place in the shoujo genre, especially with natural dialogues between characters and heartwarming romance.
Her new manga, Kumo Gakure Romantic, stands out even with its name. The words “Kumo” and “gakure” form a title that evokes hiding behind clouds or disappearing among clouds. This shows that the series has a romantic core and may also feature a mysterious atmosphere. No official summary of the main characters or plot has been released yet; however, the title gives fans of the genre quite exciting clues.
Mase's return to a new series is also significant for Dessert magazine's modern romance line. The new project by an experienced author will both rekindle the interest of the readership that grew up with You Got Me, Sempai! and strengthen Kodansha's shoujo investments in the digital market. Especially with the international readership of the genre growing in recent years, such announcements become even more meaningful.
The first chapter of Kumo Gakure Romantic will be published on August 24. As official promotional images and story details are shared in the coming days, we can say that fans in both Japan and abroad will have access to much more information about the new series.
