BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita Anime Gets Manga Adaptation: Arale∞Arabu-ration Starts July 24
BanG Dream!'s new anime project Yume∞Mita is expanding with an official manga adaptation. The manga, titled Arale∞Arabu-ration, will begin serialization on July 24, 2026. At the same time, Miyako Fuji, the keyboardist of the fictional stage band Mugendai Mewtype, has adapted the “Magical Physical Kululu” series featured within the anime into a manga, which met readers on July 2.
BanG Dream! began in 2015 as a multimedia project by Bushiroad and quickly expanded into many branches such as rhythm games, anime, concerts, and manga. The series focuses on girl bands, each playing different genres of music: Poppin’Party, Roselia, Afterglow, Pastel＊Palettes, Hello, Happy World!, RAISE A SUILEN, MyGO!!!!!, and the newest group Ave Mujica. Yume∞Mita is a side-story project set in this universe, with details still largely under wraps. The anime explores the characters' dreams and their struggles behind the scenes.
The manga adaptation Arale∞Arabu-ration will tell the same story as the anime in comic format. The publisher and the number of volumes for the manga have not yet been announced. On the other hand, the “Magical Physical Kululu” manga written by Miyako Fuji brings the “show within a show” concept from the anime into the real world. As she takes her first steps into manga writing as a musician, Fuji offers a different creative space for BanG Dream! fans.
These developments show that the BanG Dream! universe is deepening not only through music and anime but also through comics. The fact that a musician like Miyako Fuji is creating a manga strengthens the interdisciplinary structure of the series. Fans will have the chance to experience both the manga adaptation of the main story and Fuji's original work within the same summer. A new chapter schedule and a potential English release announcement for Arale∞Arabu-ration are expected in the coming weeks.
